At the first consultation, you'll be asked to fill out a detailed questionnaire about your general health and lifestyle. Your chiropractor will then ask you further questions about your presenting problem and then go on to examine you (gowns are provided). This examination along with the questionnaire will enable the chiropractor to come to a diagnosis. This will be discussed with you in detail and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions. If your chiropractor requires any further investigations (x-rays or other medical tests) before starting the treatment, these will be arranged (usually via your GP). If further information is not required, your course of treatment can start immediately.
